Community Involvement

Clackamas Women’s Services

Castparts Employees Federal Credit Union is proud to support the Clackamas Women's Services, which works to end domestic and sexual violence against women. They operate a crisis line, two shelter facilities, a children’s program, transitional housing, and community outreach and education programs. The organization provides a bridge for women and children seeking a life free of violence. We’re very pleased to be partnering with such an important organization and one that directly helps women and children in our community.

Doernbecher Children’s Hospital

Every year, the credit union donates all candy bar sales and Entertainment Book sales to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Opened in 1926 and associated with the OHSU campus, the hospital provides a full-spectrum of pediatric care. Credit unions throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington have been helping the children at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital for 22 years. The Credit Unions for Kids program is a grassroots fundraising effort involving more than 100 credit unions throughout the region. The credit unions’ credo of “People Helping People” is aptly illustrated in their commitment to the kids at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. To date, Credit Unions for Kids has raised more than $8 million for Doernbecher Funded projects.
